Invulnerable Vulnerabilities

Invulnerable Vulnerabilities is an immersive art installation that invites the viewer into a colorful maze of clear acrylic desk shields. A projection reflects off the holographic film to create unique color reflections on the wall and ground. This beautiful installation was made from a material that has a darker origin. These desk shield are recycled from Rebecca's classroom where they were used to shield children preventing them from catching COVID-19. She wants her viewers to feel the distractions her students felt by exaggerating the reflection of the shields and she stacks them on top of one another to create an encompassing feeling. This work has been shown at the VAPA Center and Hart Witzen Gallery.
