I am trained in multiple drawing, painting and printmaking techniques. Some of these techniques include: acrylic, oil, watercolor, intaglio, screen print, woodcut, linocut, pen and ink, and chalk pastel.
The highlighted intaglio works were made during my studies under Kiochi Yamamoto at Penland School of Crafts in Spruce Pine, NC. This wasn't my first time learning intaglio, but here I did learn how to print on Japanese Gambi paper and then make a kite out of the collaged prints.
I consider making art with watercolor and chalk pastels as more of my relaxing hobby art. A lot of the art I make out of these materials are just for my practice or for general art sales.
